Nature is everything, without it there is nothing. Nature is the basic unit of life. Nature is the most significant source of comfort, safety, groundedness, and emotional sustenance. United Nation designated 5 June as World Environment Day in 1974. This day is celebrated every year to encourage worldwide awareness and action for the protection of the environment. World Environment Day is the first time organised by the UN General Assembly on the first day of the Stockholm Conference on Human Environment. World Environment Day is first celebrated in 1974 with the theme of “Only one Earth” in the city of Spokane in the USA.

This year Government of Sweden will host the World Environment Day 2022 programme in partnership UN Environment Programme (UNRP). The theme of World Environment Day 2022is “Only One Earth”. World Environment Day 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the first united nations conference held in Stockhome in 1972, when UNEP was created and 5 June is designated as World Environment Day every year.

With three leadership dialogues, the conference will reflect the urgent need for action toward a healthy planet and all prosperity, achieving, sustainable and global recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and sustainable development. Accelerate the implementation of the environmental aspects of the context of a decade of action. the conference will persuade the message and outcome of the event to convince the 50th anniversary of UNEP to be held in Nairobi in March 2022.
